Manga, YahoO!

Ohayo gozaimasu, minna!

I just woke up from a two hour cat-nap.  I've enjoyed reading my manga, and maybe I'm gonna share it with you!

Sayonara Elevator by Maita Nao (Sorry, I don't know the real English name of the manga)

The Malay translated version of Sayonara Elevator

Sayonara Elevator: Gift From Heaven

Oikawa Shino, a girl who doesn't know how to socialise, finds a lift in her school that's connected to another world, which was also said that a boy died in there. One day, she finds the lift operational and a boy named Shingo Kozue in it, the same boy who was said to die in there. He gives her a book Girl Notes, the words written over a lot of correction pen ink. With it, Kozue helps ShinTo socialise by getting around people with their usual habits. Later, Shino slowly realises that she is in love with him. Before Kozue leaves in the lift, Shino confronts him about the Girl Notes, which is revealed to be for her. He says that he had eyes for her, but he died before he could meet her. After hearing his story, Shino let Kozue go, promising she will never stop smiling, as it reminds her of him.

 Sayonara Elevator: My Treasure

Young schoolgirl Miyako gets a postcard from her childhood friend and first love, Mizukawa Haruki, which wrote that after a very long time, he will come and visit her. When a friend asks about Haruki, Miyako replies that they are best friends since childhood, and always keep in touch with each other. She happily tells her friend that he will come and visit, after years of not seeing one another. On her way to the teachers' office, she notices that her school's long-abandoned lift is working again. She is shocked to see that Haruki comes out of the lift, in purpose of seeing her again. Miyako takes him to the school garden to catch up on things with him.

He then tells her that he wants to go to the usual meeting place, as that was the place where they would watch the sunset together. As they watch, Miyako claims that Haruki has grown taller and tries to touch him, but he nudged away, claiming that her sudden approach has surprised him. Later in school, a classmate asks Miyako why was she talking alone in the school garden the other day. She confronts Haruki, who finally confesses that he likes her and tells that he has to look for his treasure, but he needs her help, as he can't touch anything.

He takes her to a buttress tree surrounded by water, saying that his treasure is hidden there. Miyako swims to get there, but the current suddenly catches speed. She begs for help from Haruki, but he is a ghost, and he couldn't help her. He tells a drowning Miyako that spirits come to the world using the lift he used before to settle scores. He also claims that spirits cannot bring humans to the OtherWorld. He remembers her telling him that he is her beloved for ever, but the earth isn't eternal, so he is helping her get to the infinite world so they could be together for eternity. As he leaves her to die in a watery grave, Haruki says with a smile that Miyako is his treasure.

Sayonara Elevator: This Time It Isn't Wrong

Okimura Yume and Tsukui Nanase are best friends since childhood but as she reaches adolescence, Yume realises that she has developed feelings for him since they were children. As a little girl, she proposed to Nanase, but he rejects as they could not marry unless they were 18. Yume was asked to wait until they were 18, and she agreed, a promise she remembers till now. As she walks back to the locker room, she finds Nanase sliding an envelope between two lockers, which neither are Yume's. As he leaves, she takes the letter and threw it in the trashcan, before running out and bumping into Nanase, who is going back to the locker room. They have an idle talk before a car crash into them.

They come to and realise they are back in the school, using the abandoned lift. Yume over hears a conversation about her and Nanase being hit by a car, landing in a coma. They trace themselves to the Yonemura General Hospital, where they find themselves dead but breathing. Thinking that they will never wake up, Yume goes back to the school and goes down the lift, where Nanase stops her. She admits to him that she had noticed the love letter Nanase sent and threw it out, thinking that he loves someone else; hearing this, he wraps her in his embrace, asking why, in her opinion, that he turned back. He then tells her that he realised he put the letter at the wrong locker and says that it was originally for her. Nanase also tells that he couldn't wait to confess his love for Yume until they were 18. Hand in hand, they go down the lift and wake up from their comas.

The Miracle You Gave Me

Schoolgirl Kaito Remi has a gift where she could tell when a person is lying. She meets a boy with a chronic disease, Yorito Asuka, who is a classmate whom she has never seen before, yet she claims that he shines like the sun. To their classmates' discomfort, Asuka confronts Remi about her ability to detect lies. He tells her about him being admitted to the hospital half-a-year before because of his illness. He takes her to the the hospital he was admitted to, begging her to tell if the nurse who treats him is lying. Remi reveals that the nurse   lies, and the truth is it will be a problem it to do a surgery without a suitable donor for Asuka, since he has only one year to live without it.

Later through the story, he goes to school and faints in class. His classmates lie about worrying about Asuka's condition. Remi, who couldn't stand any of this, fights back before running out. Asuka, after being slightly healthy, gives her a ticket to a theme park, inviting her to go dating with him as soon as he is well-conditioned. Of course, Remi could sense that he is lying, and lets go of the ticket, letting it get blown by the wind. She sulks on a bench beside a bush, in which Asuka is in, his hand clutching the ticket Remi had let go. He tells her that he will get better, and he will go with her. Remi senses his lies and cries. Asuka confronts her and tells her that even though they might be lies, he wants to believe them, because he knows what's right for him and he wants to be with Remi.

A year later, Asuka has healed completely and he and Remi become a couple.

A Wish Upon A Star

Right after having her love being coldly rejected, Hayasaka Kanou gets killed in a road accident. A month later, she  returns to her school to seek revenge for her love, Natsume, who is the only one to notice the now spirit- Kanou. She remembers her words the year before, she said when there is a falling star, a person will be reborn, because if a person dies, he will become a star. Everyone didn't believe her and turned to Natsume, a member of the Astronomy Club who said that it was a fascinating story.

One evening, Kanou notices Natsume is still in school, sleeping on his desk. She sees that he is still wearing his headphones, and is curious to know what he is listening to, which turn out to be radio transmissions. As she wonders why Natsume would listen to radio transmissions, she falls asleep on the floor beside him. When she wakes up, she notices that the sky has grown dark. She is surprised to see Natsume hasn't returned home. When she asks, he replies that he has a book to read. She remembers the headphones and asks why was he listening to radio transmissions, and he simply replies that it is his hobby.

One day when Kanou sneaks into class, the teacher explains that we can hear when there are falling stars, because when this happens, radio transmissions will become unclear and if the transmissions still become unclear, that means the stars have fallen. She notices Natsume in the class. When he notices her back, he looks away. After class, she confronts him that he has hoped for her to be reborn. Natsume confesses that he has loved Kanou for so long and when she died, he has been listening to radio transmissions ever since.

Hearing this, Kanou starts to disappear. Natsume grabs her and their lips meet in a kiss. As he lets go of her, Kanou vanishes, resulting in Natsume's tears starting to fall. The radio transmissions from his headphones start to sound fuzzy. He looks up to the sky and sees a falling star. In another place, a sound of a crying newborn baby is heard. Natsume still hears Kanou's words ringing in his ears: We will meet again someday... I'm certain of it...

Well, there you have it! I got extremely sad when I read about Kanou and Natsume; I literally cried after that! Yuri couldn't help but laugh. So much for being girlish, eh? I've also read Shokora no Mahou ~creamy sugar~, where a new chocolate maker named Blanche is introduced. She's the complete opposite of Shokora: she wears white clothes, has white hair and looks very kind (but the Gothic Lolita style still sticks). Heh, I'm trying to catch up with Aren; she is interested in Japan's mangas, which is the heart of Japan! I do too, and I do a little homework about Japanese instruments and fashions and stuff; like the furisode, koto, shamisen and other things.

 Resu thinks she knows about Japanese stuff too, because I can hear her talking about it in class, saying that furisode are the hot things there. Yes, but the only people who are wearing it are geisha!! She practically hates me. (What can I say? I'm the person who most people hate) But the problem is, she tries to be nice with me with the talk of Japan gig. That doesn't work, because one: she talks about it with a very sarcastic & mocking tone, and two: she doesn't like it, she just does this just to be good in everyone's books. She's got that covered, since she's the overlord of everybody, even if I am Head Girl and not her. =-=;

Till then, Bye-Bye!

Smileys all around,

Crazy-MUCH?

Hello, it's me..

Just got back from school. Y'know, school is not the best place I would be, because sometimes people openly mocks me and my friends. Like a few hours ago. My close friends know that I broke my arm 6 years ago, so my arm is not as straight as it used to be, but my wrist isn't twisted so it's fine. The only problem is when I press my palms onto a surface, my wrists would touch, creating a V-shape with my hands. It's been going on for years now, and when I did that at school, Little Miss Feminine saw it and copied me, also creating a V with her hands.

Okay, call it obsessive hatred but she's not supposed to do that! I'm born like that, so why should she do it as well? Heh, she probably noticed that I was watching her, so she stopped the moment she saw me glare. Everyone knows I have an extremely short temper, and I bit my cheek to avoid from doing something stupid that will get her a prefect promotion and me on a trip to the dump. Okay, it was a little thing, but I call it mockery. You can't just do that to people! C'mon, I agitate her and get a disciplinary warning while she mocks me and gets nothing? Come on!

That's not all. Even in my country, we play dodge ball, but we play the local version of it, where there is only one ball available. The girls of my class have been playing it since last year, and I just joined in last March. Having a game without any arguments would be impossible, right? That's what happened yesterday. My class has a huge open space at the back hidden by a collapsible wooden wall, so whenever we can't play dodge ball on the field, we play there. We split ourselves into 2 groups, me in Aren's team and Miss Feminine in Little Miss Perfect's.

We played for a while, and then Team Perfection got the best of us in a dirty way. Our team quit, so they played by their own. I returned to Aren's doujinshi then I heard Miss F. babbling by her own. Let's see if I can recall it, shall we?

" That's all you guys do, don't you? Get 5-minute breaks and play your own rules, right? 'Oh, you cheat!' 'Hey, you play dirty!' That's all you say! You think we're not tired?"

I'm being truthful! She was mocking our dodge ball team! That was extremely painful. I tried to confront Aren about it, but you know I'm sometimes shy when I try to do that. I could feel internal pain. It's literally choking me! It's a little thing I call 'emotional body language'. It's not that I'm crazy or anything, it's just... Oh, nevermind!

Purity forever,

PLANS

Kobanwa, minna!

Let's see if I can pronounce them properly. Yuujou. Junshin. Kibou. Hikari. Aijou. Yuuki. Chisiki. Seijitsu. You might know them as Friendship, Purity, Hope, Light, Love, Courage, Knowledge and Reliability. These are the words that I've been holding onto for my sanity's sake, especially the first two.

Yes, I know these are Crests (& I'm one of its bearers, hohoho!!) but I see it as both Crests and things that all should have, especially the DigiDestineds. I am Mimi- yeah, I do refer myself as Ajisai, because people like Airisu and Resu don't know Digimon. -_-; So when I call myself Mimi, they would say that I want to change my identity. That's nowhere close to true! At all!

I still have faith in my Crest. I wonder if the other Chosen Children still do. I mean, we're separated by different housing and school locations, especially me, Yamato, Takeru, Taichi and Daisuke (he joined in right after me, but there were no other roles available for the original group, so he took on Motomiya Daisuke, the holder of the DigiEgg of Courage and Friendship; Taichi & Yamato, however, were determined to make this only for the original Chosen Children, so Daisuke was the only one to be made an exception).

I mean, we're all split up. Taichi, Sora, Hikari, Koushirou and Jyou are still together, but the only ones far from them are me, Yamato, Takeru and Daisuke. I can't do anything, I'm afraid. It's fate. That's where all the Crests and ideas come in.

What the Crests of the Chosen Children tell me:

1. The Crest of Friendship: Friends are like jewels, and no argument more important than friendship
2. The Crest of Purity: Keeping yourself pure is what keeps you going and be sincere to yourself
3. The Crest of Hope: Never say all hope is lost, because there is always hope for something
4. The Crest of Light: Light will always shine through, no matter how dark the circumstances get
5. The Crest of Courage: If you have the courage to do something, it will stick with you until the end
6. The Crest of Love: Love makes the world go round
7. The Crest of Knowledge: Knowledge is the key to eternal success
8. The Crest of Reliability: If you can rely on yourself, you can definitely rely on others to do anything

That's my opinion, of course. Yours, yours, I guess. Wow, I've really charged my battery today, haven't I?  Oh, I'm also writing lyrics! I'm a starter, so I'm only doing it based on other songs' melodies. I'm not going to publish it, ok? I dunno', love songs, stories, I'll try to do it all. I'm starting off with a song called Close Your Eyes and Say 'I Love You', using the melody of the Kagamine twins' Gemini. I'm basing it off other songs so it would be good practice for creating melodies.

I'm trying to do a little doujinshi, too. It's gonna' be hard work, so this idea would either be deleted or kept or a draft. It's going to be a Mimato doujinshi, if only I could just figure out the plot. Since my scanner doesn't work the way I want it to, I'll probably have to scan the pages first and colour them using MS Paint. Just an idea, of course.

Yours sincerely,
.:MIMI TACHIKAWA:.

Darkness Gone Far?

Hello, Ajisai Hana speaking.

Remember what Muchi-nichan said about me watching dark and horror movies? Well, I took it to a new level recently. A whole scary new level.

You know 'The Possession', right? I first knew about it in a movie ad in NST. It looked so fascinating, except for the fact that it was 'based on a true story'. C'mon, that trick's a little too old to be played on 21st century kids. The caption of the ad was: Fear the demon that doesn't fear god.

That was, honestly, not frightening at all. Of course, I didn't find anything about a young girl puking live moths scary. I was so curious that I decided to do a little research about it. I opened up Wikipedia about it and it said it was inspired by another horror movie: The Exorcism of Emily Rose, so I did a little research about that, too, so I could understand where the idea came from and whatnot.

I didn't get scared when I read the plot of 'The Possession', but instead it got me very excited. That's kind of weird, especially for a girl like me. To be frank, I'm a supernatural nerd. I love everything that has to do with the Other World & scary things like Bloody Mary, Bettiscombe Manor and much more. I know there's other ghosts like water spirits and all, but I don't know them, because they're just made up for entertainment purposes. (That's Aren's specialty: she's the Queen of ShowBiz!)

Here's what I know about the movie: a girl named Em visited a yard sale with her dad and sister, Clyde and Hannah. She plays around with the junk until she stumbles upon an old box with carvings on it. Em wants the box, and her dad bought it for her. She wants to open it, but Clyde gets to it first, saying that by the looks of the box, it's not meant to be opened at all. Curious, Em stayed up one night and opened it; her behaviour gradually becomes violent. Clyde decides to dispose the box by throwing it in the garbage unit, but Em gets to it first. Later, she says to her dad that an old woman in the box keeps calling her 'special'.

Clyde, who gets frightened by his daughter's behaviour, takes the box to a university, where the professor claims the box is not an ordinary one but the Dybbuk box, which contains a demon inside it. He says that the possession has three main stages, including one where the Dybbuk latches itself to a host, making an entity with it. Meanwhile, Em's mother, Stephanie, is attacked by Em in the kitchen. Scared, she takes her to the hospital for an MRI. Stephanie is shocked to see the demon's face near Em's heart in one of the scans. The family later reunites in the hospital, prepared to perform an exorcism. Em runs away, with Clyde chasing after her. She attacks him, and the demon possesses Clyde instead. A man, whom Clyde had brought along, performs the exorcism and successfully locks the demon back in the box. At the end of the movie, the man gets killed in a car crash, leaving the Dybbuk box unharmed, with the demon still inside.

Again, I didn't get it, so I searched for Dybbuk box instead. I didn't get it either. The part where the demon being trapped inside scared me, though. As I read on, I found out that the owners of the box would dream nightmares every night, which included an old hag accompanying the box. Then I read on. The box is said to contain two 1920s pennies, a lock of blonde hair bound with cord, a lock of black/brown hair bound with cord, a small statue with the word 'Shalom', a small golden wine goblet, one dried rose bud and a single candle-holder with four octopus-shaped legs.

I could picture it in my mind (but I didn't dare to draw it, because sometimes I get carried away with my researches until I scare myself with an image of something I don't have to store in my brain), everything! The pennies, the hairs, the statue, the goblet, the rose bud, the candle-holder, every single thing. I could imagine the image of the box itself! (Again, I didn't draw it: illustrating my inner thoughts onto pieces of paper seals them as if they were drawn in ink; in other words, once I draw something, I won't forget it) I was stupid enough to go to YouTube and type 'The Possession trailer' in the search engine. It was either I was tricked myself into it or I was lead by plain nothingness, like the time I searched for Glozelle doing the Cinnamon Challenge. >^<

When I watched it, that's when my heart started to jump into my throat, forcing me to shut up so I wouldn't scare anyone with my exceptionally loud screams. It was scary, so scary that I had to listen to the Nightcore Remix of Lay All Your Love On Me, Trouble Maker by 4Minute's HyunA and B2st's Hyunseung and Kagamine Rin and Len's (enclosure) just to wipe out all those scary scenes in my head (although Paradichlorobenzene, Antichlorobenzene and Tapioca no Uta could've done a better and faster job).
To loosen my spirits a little bit more, I started to draw my manga (whoops, big mistake..^^;) which consists of:

a) Shisido Nana (14-year old Japanese exchange student, has an ability to speak with ghosts [respected by them too], youngest of three siblings,)
b) Shisido Nodame (15-year old Japanese exchange student, Ghost Whisperer [respected by them too], the second of two siblings)
c) Takanashi Kaina (13-year old Japanese exchange student, Ghost Whisperer [respected by them too], an only child, hates [Solee'] has two cousins; Nodame and Nana)
d) Revelina Isabelle (14 year-old Malaysian-Indonesian, has a knack for ghost-hunting, leader of study group H.E.R.O.I.N.E FC)
e) Siti Wafa (13-year old Malaysian, has an elder sister [Sakinah], very playful)
f) Che Sakinah (14-year old Malaysian, sister to Siti Wafa, wise, member of H.E.R.O.I.N.E FC)
e) Nur Intan (14-year old Malaysian, loves ghost-hunting, member of H.E.R.O.I.N.E FC)
g) Solee' Frost Linney (14-year old French-English exchange student, mage)

With guest star:

Shisido Kaoru (18-year old Japanese, Ghost Whisperer, eldest of three siblings)

Everything gets worse today: I've completely lost my voice! I can't talk with anybody! Even Muchi-nichan tells me to type everything I say to him, because he couldn't understand me with my squeaky, almost-gone voice. Huhh... Until then, Bye-Bye!

Your Ghost Eye,

Welcome back!

Beep..Beep..Beep..

Hello, Ajisai Hana speaking...

Yes, it's been a while since my last post. I apologise, but I haven't been on for long because me and my fellow friends of 6 At-Tirmizi has just finished sitting for the biggest examination of our lives so far- UPSR!!

Gosh, it was so frustrating! Today was the last day, thank goodness. Today is also Aren's birthday! Happy birthday, Aren~! She had a small celebration today at the dining hall. Her mother brought a cake that had her name written in orange and white icing on it. Everyone had a blast, especially when they all had a big icing fight after that. I wasn't involved. Frankly, I didn't know how it happened in the first place..:P

Since it was Aren's birthday, of course it was special for her, so I bought a birthday present two days before. I had nothing in mind, so I settled with a phone chain for her. I bought it at Parkway, a gift shop at KB Mall. It was very cute, it even had a Hello Kitty charm at the end of it. She loved it, because I could hear her squealing because of the cuteness of her Hello Kitty phone chain.

That's the school part of my life. Now the home part. Muchi-nichan just came home from school today. Yippee! Out of the blue, he told me that movies that I watch reflect who I am. Ok, so I watch D.Conan movies and Spirited Away, The Cat Returns, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle and other Japanese movies, so I suspect that he would say I'm an otaku, but then he said that I'm a dark person. Say, what??

He told me I like to watch dark movies like Coraline and Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, so what? Ok, maybe I am a little astray into dark movies (I'm looking out for Sandako 3D and The Possession) but he asked me why I don't like to watch light and comical movies. I mean, c'mon! Just the other day, I watched Paul Blart and Johnny English! Ugh... Brothers..

Oddly, that's all I have to say. Until then,
Facebooker,

.:MIMI TACHIKAWA:.
