I actually found this a while back, but I just wanna share with you: Digimon's having a new season, and guess who it's featuring? The ORIGINAL CHOSEN CHILDREN!!! The 8 DigiDestineds from 1999 of Digimon Adventure are coming back! *runs around in excitement*

Taichi, Yamato, Jyou, Koushirou, Mimi, Sora, Hikari, Takeru... they're all coming back!! I found this out during the mid semester hols, and it was announced as a narration about Taichi. A few weeks later, that picture comes out, announcing that the new season will be released in spring 2015. Another announcement: it's another poster, with the official date of release! Behold, Digimon Tri!!

I was absolutely fangirling when I saw this on my web feed! How can you NOT? I used to watch Digimon when I was a kid, and I loved it so much! And the other Digimon seasons can't even compare! I actually have a friend who is a fan of Digimon Xros Wars; we're still good friends which is an achievement for me, despite our differences in Digimon preferences (I used to have friends who liked Digimon Frontier... we're not friends anymore, coz we kept battling out on which was the better season :/).  And to see them all grow up from this...

...don't you get excited too (they're all 6 years older than their original age in the first season)? Sure, the character designs are much more different than the first season- it bugged me too- but it didn't stop me from squealing in joy when I found out about Digimon Adventure Tri! There is something that still bugs me to this day, though: Yamato's hair. But I soothe myself by looking at people's fanart, who knows my pain. *sighs* I went through my FB feed again and found this!!

My heart soared~ The happiness.. I've been reading the other DigiFanatics' responses about this, and they're all rooting that Sora gets back with Taichi. My GOD! FINALLY! SOMEBODY AGREES WITH ME!

Ok, so I just went through my Facebook feed a couple of minutes ago, y'know, just to catch up to the latest Japanese stuff (SGCafe, Tokyo Otaku Mode, GoBoiano... go check them out!) when I found a shared article from GoBoiano. I don't know if you guys have heard it before, but it's about Seiri Danshi Anthology or to be frankly English, Period Boy.

Seriously, Japan? =-= (roll credits :D! #cinemasinsreference) To sum this manga up, it's about a 17-year-old kid who menstruates.

I know. Not my cup of tea. =-=

It's kind of expected for Japan to do really weird stuff like Boku no Pico or KissxSis (yes, I'm creeped out by both of them >.<||||), but Seiri Danshi is in a different category altogether. I've seen the first few pages of the manga (scarring, but I made it through ALIVE!!) and here's a little sum-up.

Our male protagonist Chihiro, who was fine the day before, wakes up and finds himself in his own words, "a sea of blood spreading out before me". He's thinking of other logical things that might've caused it, like hemorrhoids or blood mixing in with his urine, but before he could finish thinking it through, his mother comes in and asks for his sheets and pajamas to be washed.

 Well, I'm thinking you can guess the rest.ヾ(_ _*)

On the first read, I found rather more shocking than gross, but after going through the pages, it kinda made me laugh. Watching him react to that kind of situation reminds me a lot of the many menstruation problems girls usually relate to on Tumblr (seriously tho, Tumblr's FULL of them =-=).  I myself tried to look for a logical explanation to it, like 'maybe he's both genders' or 'diseases', but then again... The title of the manga is as clear as my nose. And I have a big nose =-=.

Being completely honest, I actually wanna go where this is going. Out of mere curiosity :/. Well, aren't you? And I feel really bad for dear Chihiro here. Now he has to suffer the pains of being a girl and has to keep it a secret too. He must have another outlook for girls after he's gone through this... Seriously though, don't you feel sorry for him too? Look at him! (´；д；`) (I'm such a sucker for Japanese 2D boys.. huh!)

And that's another thing: the first thing that I said when I saw the few pages of the manga was, "He's too hot to go through something like that!" People know how I can barely get over how cute a male anime character is, and Chihiro's face actually made my heart flutter.

 When I first saw the chapter cover (the one I posted up there, titled 'My Period Starts Today'), the first thing I thought was (he's so HOT (●´□`)♡ seriously tho, it's true) maybe he just got punched in the stomach, and he's the sissy type so he can't handle the pain like a man. Then I caught sight of the box of pills and thought maybe he was sick or something. The title really sank in later on, coz I couldn't accept the fact that a hot guy like him is going through such a situation. Where would he be bleeding from, anyway? ╰▐ ◑ ‸ ◑ ▐╯

... Exactly. I don't know either. For the sake of mentally scarring you forever, here's another picture of him. (BUT HE'S SO ADORABLY CUTE!!!!!)

Yay for Updates!!

Konbanwa, minna!!

It's been SOOOO long since I've posted anything. For the whole YEAR. I actually had plans to update this year, but I couldn't for the lack of laptops. Anywho, I have no idea on what to talk about right now (I'm doing this for the sake of updates :P)...

Before I posted this, I went through my old posts from the previous years, then I came across the Woman in Black review I talked about. I read through the whole thing and I saw that I actually wanted to read the original book by Susan Hill. Well guess what? I actually accomplished that this year!! Woohoo!! *applause*

But I never expected to find that book actually. I remembered about it when I was at a book sale and saw the book cover (it wasn't the original cover, but at least the story was by Susan Hill :/). The cover was of the ever so handsome Daniel Radcliffe with a dark silhouette of the Woman in Black behind him. But I took it anyway, for the sake of accomplishing anything that was on my to-do list for the year. Coz believe me, some of the things on my to-do list I don't even remember.

I read the book, but it wasn't so scary. It was so SAD!! T^T Well, it's either it is sad, or I missed every single scary part the book has to offer. Either way, I cried a little at the end of the book :(. Stella died, his son died? WHY, JENNETT WHY????!? !? I can't do a retelling about it, coz I hid that book somewhere and even though I know where it is, there is no way I'm gonna re read that thing again. Don't get me wrong, the book is good, but the fact that the cover is so scary I might just have nightmares from the cover itself.

Hehe, I guess that's it, but I'll assure this won't be the end of it. I'm so sorry for not posting, I was at boarding school, so internet's not as easy to come by. See ya!
